What's the best air filter/purifier for cigarette smoke?

I mainly want to get rid of the smell of cigarette smoke in my bedroom that drifts down the hall from my parents room.
Do ionic filters work well for this? They seem convenient since you don’t have to buy new filters ever. But do they work well? If not, what is the best kind?

These are much better than the Ionic Breeze as they cover more area, 1 unit can purify up to 3000 sqft…as well, they have a $100 off offer if you trade in your Ionic Breeze for one of the units. I have the large unit in my home as well as my parents, in laws, pastor, etc….they work great!!!
I liked the Ionic Breese. You have to clean it at least weekly, more often if you open your window.
