I am trying to minnimize the "stale air" smell mixed with food odors that we have in our apartment. My spouse is CRAVING fresh air but not sure which one I should get. My grandmother had an IONIC Breeze type unit years ago and I loved the smell but not sure my spouse would respond the same. They nearly hate everything that I like so I am thinking about the air purifier with the charcoal insert. Anybody have any luckw ith these? I want to buy an ionic air purifier but i don’t know what brand is better or if it matters. I also want one that is self cleaning or doesn’t use replaceable parts. Which is better for removing smells and allergens from the air? Ion generators? Ozone generators? hepa air filters? Or some machine that is a combination of the three? I want to get something like an ionic breeze but not sure what’s best….?
