Which is better for removing smells and allergens from the air? Ion generators? Ozone generators? hepa air filters? Or some machine that is a combination of the three? I want to get something like an ionic breeze but not sure what’s best….?

Any recommendations?

I recently moved into an older house. It does not have central air. Just ceiling mounted fans, radiators, and window AC units. I am noticing a large amount of dust accumulating. On campus there is a meditation room. The air there smells great, I believe it is ionized. Do you have any suggestions or recomendationgs for an (ionic?) air purifier?
