Can A Hepa Filter Air Cleaner Or Ionizer Be Used For Low Asthma People?
I am trying to decide what machine type is best for a low to medium asthma person and also another person that is allergic to grass after it is cut.
Is a Hepa Filter Air Purifier the best one to get or a Ionizer.
I was planning on getting a Hamilton Beach 04491 True-Air Tower Air Purifier or the Hamilton Beach Air Ionic… just needed to know which one be the best. The person is a 5 year old.

Read all about the various types of air purifiers in the market at:

Then you do your own research and read up on reviews of the various products out there.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
You do not want an ionizer or anything which generates ozone. Ozone is a well known irritant and is especially bad for asthmatics. A good HEPA-standard air purifier will serve you well.
Ionizers have horrid reviews so far as actually removing particulate matter from the air.
Here’s an EPA article, but you can also look up the Consumer Reports review at your local library.
