I have a soar throat from drainage and I have for months now. I’ve been to the doctor now with a sinus infection every month since the beginning of this year. I’ve been taking claritin, using saline netipot irrigation everyday, been taking prescribed deconex (mucinex but better), and I have an ionic breeze air purifier in my room that I recently purchased and it seems to help.
However, I cannot seem to get rid of drainage every morning and my soar throat.
Before I amp up my allergy medicine or go to a specialist, can anyone recommend me some cheaper solutions to help?
My dad has been to a specialist before and they recommended he drink coffee every morning.
I tried that for awhile but it didn’t help very much I don’t think.
I don’t smoke and I don’t have any known allergies to foods or medicine or grass or anything like that. I also spend very little time outside anyway.
Thanks in advance!
Like the ionic breeze, or the oreck xl.
I know they filter the air, I can tell by what I wash off of the electrodes, but do they help the health by reducing bad particles, etc.?
Or can they be harnful? Do you like yours?
I got both of these at a thrift store for like, 10 bucks each, so I didnt pay the outrageous original prices for either of them.
They really take a lot of crap out of the air. Those electrodes are just coated with it.

I’m moving into a house with a dog, and I have allergies. However, they are not terrible and I take medicine. I’ve been searching for different ways to help my allergies. So far I have got change the floors from carpet to a hard surface, get a HEPA vacuum cleaner, get allergen pillow cases and mattress covers, replace the filters on the air conditioners, no extra clothe items in the room (including stuffed animals), get an ionic breeze air purifier.
As far as the dog goes I got give him a bath once a week, wipe him down with wet cloth daily, keep out of your bedroom, have good ventilation.
I’m open to a variety of suggestions; However, I cannot replace the dog. Besides he’s a really sweet lab. I’m open to using natural remedies, such as tea or hot peppers to specific cleaning techniques. SO PLEASE SHARE YOUR INPUT AND DIRECT ME TO RELEVANT WEBSITES!

Alright I’m looking for an air purifier that does a good job of removing smoke, food, and errant smells out of the air. I’d mainly like one that removes smoke particles seeing as I am a smoker. I’d also like one that isn’t really expensive, more then likely under 200$ and one without filters. Kinda like the grills you clean on the ionic pro ones…well thanks for the help!
I was given an IonicPro,but read that consumer reports rated ionic breeze, same machine, lowest of all air cleaners. Will this machine produce a bad amount of ozone? It really smells after awhile.Ozone can hurt the lungs and respiratory system. Also, what air cleaner will help with the dust you see floating in the air?Besides in duct system,Thanks
