I bought, what looks like, a new ionic air purifier at an estate auction. It did not come with instructions. How do I clean the metal plates inside the machine, that collect the particles out of the air. Thanks for any help

Decided to keep the air on the plane a little purer than usual; I want to wear the 1.5 inch by 3 inch purifier on a 12 hour flight on a strap around my neck; uses one CR 2032 button battery. Will TSA allow me to do so? or will it be confiscated? I have a small language translater using the same kind of batteries (3) that will be coming along, as well. My goal is not to inhale the floating germs.

I’ve been able to find Ionic air purifiers that don’t need replacement filters, but I have not been able to find a HEPA air purifier that does not need a replacement filter. Not only do they require replacing the filter but the filters are very expensive.
I would like to spend no more than 0 for a purifier for my room (10 x 12). I have a lot of allergies that just have not gotten better. Looking for an ionic purifier as opposed to HEPA, but if you have information about either please let me know. Thanks.
